Our History
One Life Church, originally a campus plant of CCK, was established in September 2009 with the purpose of serving families and individuals seeking Christ-centred community in Kampala. In February 2014 the campus became autonomous and independent, taking the name One Life Church.
Over the next six years, One Life Church was blessed by the ministries of Brian Kelly, Josh Carlson, Nigel Harding and Brett Scudder who each played important roles in the growth and reach of the ministry.
In 2020 Martin Muchoki, who was the Associate Pastor since 2018, started leading the Church. He continues to lead the One Life congregation as Lead Pastor in their Bugolobi location (Innovation District).
Our Life
We gather every week on the Lord’s Day for corporate worship where we listen to the preaching of the Word of Christ, sing the Word, pray the Word, and experience it displayed in the Lord’s Supper and Baptism. We purpose to have a missional heart, intentional discipleship, and fellowship in small groups around the city for mutual care and encouragement as well as practically reaching out communities as an expression of our faith in and love for Jesus.
